The first race on Sunday was the Superstock 1000, with a wet track below but a sky moving towards good weather, even if it was difficult to predict. Not for the riders in reality, who made the start with basically only dry weather tyres. They used Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa PROs , in compound SC2, a tyre well known by all riders and street users, and which didn't fail to live up to expectations.
With the racetrack drying lap after lap and tyres were able to offer the same high performance, and Alessandro Polita could score the fastest lap at the 12th time around, the second-last lap, finishing the race ahead of the local rider Silva and the Italian Badovini.
