Free Pirelli Track Day - 29th July 2009

Record numbers of Pirelli riders were treated to an action-packed day of free track-time, a display of the new BMW1000RR and a special Q+A interview session with top BSB stars including James Ellison at Oulton Park, on Wednesday 29th July.

Some riders travelled from great distances to utilise this great opportunity for a free track-day and test their tyres in both wet and dry conditions at Oulton Park, a circuit chosen for its testing and exciting nature. Riders were also entered into a free draw to win a set of Pirelli tyres, a pair of VIP passes to the Oulton Park final BSB round and a host of other substantial prizes.

Airwaves Yamaha ace James Ellison attended along with Gary Mason (Quay Garage Honda), Relentless by TAS Suzuki's Alastair Seeley and MAP Raceways Yamaha riders Billy MacConnell and AJ Venter. The riders mingled with the fans and took part in an extended interview and signing session with BSB commentator Larry Carter.
